Position open until filled.
YWCA Tampa Bay is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. It has a long history of providing opportunities to women and girls that have enabled them to develop strong leadership skills, strengthen our communities and create a more equitable world and future for all. Over these 91 years we have achieved this vision through very different types of programs some of which have included: In recent years: We provided emergency housing for women and children, operated 2 child care centers and provided teen pregnancy and prevention care. In our past: We held the first interracial youth conference in Pinellas Count, operated integrated public cafeterias during the civil right movement and assisted women to find safe employment during the 1920’s.
