The mission of the Guardian ad Litem Foundation of Tampa Bay is to provide advocacy and support for abused, abandoned or neglected children in the Guardian ad Litem Program of Pinellas and Pasco Counties. We envision a world where every child has a safe and permanent home and the opportunity to thrive.
Volunteer child advocates are central to fulfilling society’s most fundamental obligation to protect our children. Guardian ad Litem volunteers are the voice of the child in court and the child’s best interest is their only interest. They help them both in and out of the courtroom to make sure the children’s needs are met by the system and they are often the only consistent adult in a child’s life.
