About St. Anthony’s Foundation:
St. Anthony’s Hospital Foundation is a non-profit that strides to foster philanthropy in the community in support of St. Anthony’s Hospital. Monetary gifts and grants support new services such as: medical equipment, an improvement of the environment of care, and continuing education for our clinical staff. Specific programs also assist patients whose health would otherwise be compromised by their inability to pay for services.
St. Anthony’s Hospital Foundation supports the development of St. Anthony’s Hospital into a world-class medical facility through philanthropic support of its many capital projects, service line development, clinical education and other programs that improve the health of the community.
The Franciscan Sisters of Allegany opened St. Anthony’s Hospital in 1931. Inspired by faith, the hospital has been known for providing the utmost in compassionate care and innovative services. Today we enjoy a partnership with hundreds of the finest physicians in the Tampa Bay region including Suncoast Medical Clinic, and are continually expanding the scope of the medical services we provide primarily in the arena of women’s health services, cardiology, oncology, orthopedics, neurology and behavioral health.
Board Description:
The St. Anthony’s Hospital Foundation board of Trustees represents St. Anthony’s Hospital in the community by building relationships, and using their contacts, influence and resources to advocate for our mission.
